This is a lovely trail for the Sunday tourist who with very little effort can reach a satisfying viewpoint less than half a kilometer from Moose Mountain Road. Real hikers (and bikers) combine this trail with either Elbow Valley or River View to make loops of varying lengths depending on the starting point. It has become the classic spring tune-up walk.

On a sunny first day of autumn we observed absolutely asstonishing variety of colours in the flora. I highly recommend this trail to those who are looking for a less strenuous hike. The beauty of the area, particularly at the lookout is inspiring.
