This is a trip for tough, strong-willed riders. Bluerock trail, is particular is steep and frequently used by horses and cattle. It can be rough and muddy, not worth doing unless the weather has been dry for some time. Indian Oils trail is considerably better and when you include the beautiful foothill scenery, this rugged trip is quite worthwhile.
