Vermillion Lakes Road Professional Review and Guide
"Okay, so it's not a mountain bike trail, but this 6.02-mile out-and-back is one of the most popular places to ride a bike in Banff. By taking advantage of the Fenland Trail parking lot, you can add a bit of gravel to the start of this ride. Once you join the pavement, turn left and enjoy some of the most dramatic views in the Rockies. Photographs of the sloping face of Mount Rundle reflected in the Vermillion Lakes have been used on the covers of countless books and magazines. This is the kind of place to relax and drink in the views. You may even get the chance to see the bald eagles that nest on the lake."
