The trail is located at Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park. This trail provides both expert and intermediate riders with challenges and views galore. It is an out-and-back trail that can take you as far as 21.7 miles before you need to turn back. Most riders turn around at the Ghost Lakes at mile 15.25. As you get beyond the 6-mile mark, the face of Devil's Gap becomes dominant ahead of you. It beckons you to continue, as the views seem to improve with every mile. As you arrive at the Ghost Lakes, avoid the urge to go too much farther, since you have to return from whence you came.

The scenery on this trail is epic for any intermediate rider. Make sure to go in September or October when the larch are golden in Banff.
