How many locks do you REALLY need?
The number of locks you buy is determine by how many Yakima components you will lock. To use a single key, it's recommended you buy some extra locks for the future in case you add components and wish to use the same key.When I bought these locks, REI recommended the 10 pack for the above reasons. However, the kayak saddles I got actually do NOT lock. You might investigate the Yakima components yourself to determine whether the components are in FACT lockable.REI was certain about the number of these locks for the parts I bought from them and they were certainly wrong.
