Yakima Q Towers - Set of 2

I recently put a pair of these on my 2009 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab using the 58" bars and they are working great. The fit and placement are great but have to be EXACTLY where the Yakima Fit Guide say that they have to be, not off by even a few inches, using the correct size and shape Q Clips. Once installed for the first time (which took me an hour alone) they go on and off easy and seem very stable. I am planning on hauling ladders every day and have already used them for surf gear and I am fully confident that they are going to work for me for many years. I definitely reccommend checking out the Yakima Fit Guide and Q Clip Sheet in depth to ensure that you get the combination that fit right where you are planning to use the rack on your car. I tried to use the Q127 Clips 2 feet further back on my car then what Yakima suggested and they were not safe to use whatsoever.

I use the towers as part of my rack for my 2001 CRV. They were initially on my Mazda and I ordered new clips to replace the model specific part. Can be used on numerous vehicles when used with the proper Q-clips.I have used the Q-towers along with a stretch kit to haul 2 Kayaks on my Toyota Tacoma Xtracab
