Yakima Q Clips - Pair

I have used Yakima Q Clips on a number of vehicles during the past 10 years. I recently purchased a Honda Fit and easily transferred my rack to the new car without any issue. As always, the fit and quality of Yakima products is top notch.I was pleased to see that Yakima changed the color of the rubber pads to black because the clear ones get extremely dirty with a few weeks of driving. I really cannot complain about the product because it does its intended job very well.

I give the clips three stars. Actually , they probably deserve more, as they were the best part of my yakima rack system. However, I disliked the rest of my yakima rack system. See my reviews under Q towers or 58" cross bars.On the positive side. The clips come with little vinyl stickers to keep your car from getting scratched were the clips meet the car. THEY WORK GREAT. Attach the stickers to the clips. However, now that I've taken the rack on/off about 5 times, I do question how much more life these stickers hold. Clips are very easy to install. I especially like the vinyl pads they include to help protect from any scratching.

I placed these on my F 350 to haul my kayaks home. Fantastic... they worked like a charm. I was pleased that they worked so easily.

These fit well, but the rubber feet don't last long if you leave your car parked under the sun for extended periods of time. My first set lasted 3-4 years, plus when the rubber started to deteriorate it left marks on my car finish.
