Works with my Outback
It took me about 10 minutes tomget these installed on my 2011 Outback with factory aero bars. They work great with my 14' Necky kayak (50lbs). There's a few lakes with a mile or two, and I don't use the front and rear tie downs when commuting to those. When I take the freeway (70mph) I use the front and rear and ties and it is rock solid.

Works well for me
Works well for me. 2013 Outback with oval factory crossbars, carrying a 12' rec kayak 40 lbs. Easy to install, very easy to slide boat onto the pads. Would probably not choose this for a long or heavy boat. I cut some lengths of bike tube to slip over the clamps before installing to protect the crossbars. There is no slippage at all in use. The tie down straps are very long which allows walking the straps around the car instead of trying - and trying and trying - to pitch them over the boat and roof. Great design point.
