I bought the pads to protect my yolo boards...but the pads could be wider and have a rubber gasket or something to prevent sliding around as I load the boards on top of the pads. The price was reasonable. I can't say how durable because they are brand new and have only been used twice.

Best value for the money!
I've bought numerous pairs of these over the years. They are very forgiving and do the job well. From kayaks and canoes to surf and stand-up paddle boards, these pads are my go-to equipment for my water sports. For the money, you can't beat'em.

Not quite UV resistant
These are useful when you want to use your Yakima rack to carry oblong objects that don't have a corresponding mount. Only problem is that these don't last long under the sun. The nylon deteriorated in a couple of years under the Texas sun. If there was a UV resistant coating it would be a great product.
