I bought the bars for carrying boats as well as bikes. Sturdy design works well with Yakima accessories such as kayak stackers and bike carriers.

They Are Metal Bars
Well, what can you say about metal bars? They are long and black. I do not regret purchasing these bars. They do not come with the plastic end plugs. You have to purchase them seperately. They are $10. That's overpriced. I went to local hardware store and bought rubber chair leg ends for $4. It works just as good.
