Worth every penny!
This was one of the few "upgrades" I made to my bike. I generally keep my bike in a medium or "high" gear, so I ride "standing" and need a lot of tourque. Having a wide, sturdy pedal "With Teeth" is awesome and much more comfortable on my feet!

Sticky Pedals
These pedals were a big improvement over stirrups for riding Alaskan trails. Much safer and easier to use while providing good power.

Stellar for the price
I'm a former bike messenger, current bike commuter and occasional pedicab rider (with a trailer-style pedicab). I plan to do some touring and S240 rides soon. I can tick a few of the boxes in the "describe yourself" pane above, but it only allows one. For years I rode with Shimano SPD pedals and Sidi Dominator or other brand shoes, but I've been leaning more toward "practical" recently. I decided to return to my BMX roots, in a way, with flat Shimano DX-style pedals. I had some other pedals in mind but I saw these in a local Austin REI while looking at full fenders and thought they were perfect, especially for the price. I don't get the comments about these being "heavy," they weigh what plat
