"In this clip I'm the belayer and I'll be properly clipping in and getting ready to handle the ropes for my wife. First thing I'm going to do, just like the climber, is make sure my harness is doubled back. I will be wearing a harness, as the belayer. So my waist and both my leg loops are doubled back, I have the ground anchor, my carabiner. I open up the carabiner, take my "tie in here" loop, push it down and always come over the top with the carabiner as a belayer. Make sure that it's snapped shut. I'm clipped in, I have my ground anchor. I'm ready to handle the ropes. I have my belay device, we're ready to go."
