"In this segment we are going to go over just some rules and regulations to keep you in the gym safe. Now, most gyms are going to have the gym split into two segments. For instance this wall, which is our bouldering or free climbing area. In this area you always want to make sure you are using crash pads. And also, for instance, if I'm in the gym as a spectator I do not want to stand here where there's a climber over my head. If a climber falls without a rope on they are going to land directly on my head. Now, as we come to the top roping side of the gym. These walls are a bit higher, as you can see. So what we do just for safety, we've painted a thick orange line all the way across the gym. This shows how high you can go without a rope on. So, our free climbers are welcome to go up to that orange line, and also side to side throughout the gym. But, they can not go to the tops of these walls unless they have a rope and harness on."
