Good, well-rounded hiking boot
I'm a small adult (boot size: 3). I bought these for a trip to Iceland, where I did some light hiking. I actually broke in my boots during the first few days of the trip. (I didn't listen to well-intended advice to do it beforehand.) It actually didn't take me that long to break them in. My biggest problem was tying my shoes. Because this was my first pair of hiking boots, I wasn't used to the shoes covering the ankle and then how tight to tie them around the ankles. It was mainly my left ankle that bothered me. After a few tries and adjustments, I found the comfy range. After that these shoes fit like a glove. Also, my feet are on the wider side, but not wide enough to buy wide shoes. I wore these for entire days and didn't have any problems. I wore them walking/hiking around the countryside and to waterfalls. Crampons fitted well when I went glacier walking. My feet never got wet and were able to breathe. Overall, I totally recommend these boots.

Good Buy!
The boots work good for our young active lad (6 years). The boots are comfortable and provide good ankle support. They also conform to his feet and give him stability. He has problems with his feet and these act like an orthotic.

Reliable and water resistant boots
My 7 year old son hiked 22 miles in the Porcupine Mountains in the UP at the end of June, and his new Vasque boots held up great. Despite the wettest and muddiest spring in several years, resulting in our slogging through mile after mile of wet and muddy trail and over slick rocks and logs, both he and his boots held up well with no problems. I had added a spray waterproofing before the trip which likely helped their water resistance

Good hiking boot with support for feet
I have been breaking in these boots for an Alaskan Cruise where I will be doing general walking around but also walking around on a glacier and kayaking. I am a female adult but have small feet so I tend to buy and wear kids shoes. I have been looking for waterproof hiking boots and after trying a few other brands I found these. I find these boots have good support in the arch and ankle. I wish these had a little more toe box width so if your feet run very wide these boots may not be for you (or your child). As the weather has been getting warmer I have not had issue

Comfort all the way
Bought these boots for 11yr old off to 5th grade camp. There was no breaking in time, and thankfully wasn't needed. He was comfortable from the start. They hiked through woods, streams, muck, you name it and his boots kept him dry. I am VERY happy with them. He will be using them a lot this summer with Boy Scouts and I am very happy that it was money well spent.

Comfortable!
I bought these for my daughter who is very sensitive to tactile discomfort, and she loves these hiking boots. She wears them almost every day, and so far, they are holding out very well in the face of lots of hard use.

My son loves them
I bought these boots for my son to go to Yosemite. It would be cold and probably covered in snow. These boots kept his feet warm and dry. There was no snow but he loved the feel of the boots and how comfortable they were.

great kids boots
I bought for 11 year old grandson for grandma-grandson backpacking. He has a wide foot and some pronation issues. He has worn them everyday breaking them in and they feel great, no rubbing. Going to be a great trip!
