The men's Vasque Bitterroot GTX hiking boots are built for sturdy backpacking performance, thanks to all-leather uppers, Gore-Tex linings and a supportive fit. Waterproofed, 2.4mm thick nubuck leather uppers are flexible, lightweight and durable for reliable performance in all conditions; rubber toe bumpers protect feet and uppers. Gore-Tex® inserts are seam-sealed to keep out water yet breathable enough to keep feet from overheating. Wicking nylon mesh linings absorb this excess moisture and disperse it for fast drying. Gusseted, padded tongues keep out trail debris and relieve pressure across insteps from lacing; padded collars add comfort around ankles. Dual-density EVA footbeds are anatomically shaped for support and offer extra cushioning underfoot. Molded polyurethane midsoles deliver plenty of cushioning and shock absorption for long days on the trail. Thermoplastic urethane shanks add rigidity for support and control on uneven surfaces and carrying heavy loads. Vasque Bitterroot GTX men's hiking boots feature long-lasting Vibram® rubber outsoles with a multidirectional lug pattern for dependable traction.
