Review of Canyon Lodge & Cabins at Yellowstone National Park
Canyon Lodge and Cabins is located at Yellowstone National Park near the Lower Falls. It provides basic and comfortable rooms and cabins that can even house your pets. The lodge is not open year round, just from the end of May to the end of September. The lodge also has a dining room that serves a hearty breakfast and lunch buffet and a full salad bar with wine and beer for dinner.

Wows and Woes

You are right in the middle of the stunning nature of Yellowstone National Park.

This lodge is quite expensive for a basic set-up, starting at close to $200 per night.

Insider Tips

Wake up early and step outside your front door to experience nature like you haven't seen before by walking the nearby trails.

Bottom Line

The location is ideal, but the price is a bit high because you're paying for the convenience of being close to nature.

Author's Most Memorable Moment

I grew up horseback riding but had to give it up thanks to allergies that affected me as a teenager. But at Canyon Lodge in the middle of Yellowstone, I didn't care because the best way to experience the park is on horseback. Maybe it was the fresh air or my positive attitude, but I didn't sneeze once. Now that's the good life.
