Mount Bachelor Village is nested on the ridge overlooking the mesmerizing Deschutes River, not far from downtown Bend and a short drive from Mount Bachelor ski resort. The resort offers all the comforts of home plus a few more, with fully equipped units, private hot tubs, an indoor/outdoor pool, outdoor tennis courts, a free shuttle to Mount Bachelor ski resort, several golf courses nearby, and easy access to hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling and skiing.

Insider Tips

Book early. This resort fills up quickly during ski season, and almost as quickly during warmer months when hiking and biking become the more common outdoor pursuits.

Shuttle trips to and from the resort and the local airport in Redmond are reasonably priced if you book ahead.

Local restaurants offer good variety, with some excellent bargains found in the quaint old section of downtown.

Bottom Line

Mount Bachelor Village offers all the amenities of home and more, with a location that allows for easy access to recreation or the thrills of downtown.

Author's Most Memorable Moment

After a wonderful day of skiing on the slopes of Mount Bachelor, we returned to sit in the private hot tub on our very own porch while the snow fell around us and the sunset colored the valley and Deschutes River below.
