Mexico Vacation Reviews

Mexico Vacation Reviews
Mexico is a big country with a lot of diversity for a traveler. The Pacific offers a wealth of sport fishing on the Baja peninsula, while the Caribbean has some of the best scuba diving near Cancun. The Mayan Ruins of the Yucatan Peninsula present amazing archaeological sites, while Oaxaca offers a glimpse into the culture of the Mexican Indians. Border towns such as Tijuana are easy to get to, and make for a good day trip to shop and dine. Mexico City is a vibrant large city with a museum that rivals the Musee D'Orsay in Paris.

Wows and Woes

Anyone who likes deep-sea fishing will be impressed with Cabo San Lucas and the wealth of fishing offered. The jungles of Mexico have the most amazing temples and pyramids that rival Egypt.

According to the U.S. government's official travel site, crime remains high in all major cities in Mexico, but in particular in Tijuana, Acapulco and Mexico City. Kidnapping as a form of getting quick cash from the victims occurs frequently, especially when a person travels solo.

Insider Tips

At Puerto Nuevo, she proceeded to eat three lobsters, taking off her dentures, grinning and declaring this the best vacation she ever had. Me too.
