The hike down Gilliam Creek is amazing. One way is four miles, but it goes along ferns, redwoods, creek crossings and I saw a wild bore. It meets Austin Creek where there is a Backpacking campground, its closed. The hike out isnt easy, around 1200 feet elevation gain.

Really amazing trails. Started out at Bullfrog Pond campground and hiked five miles to manning flats campground in a valley on the edge of stream, truly beautiful. On the way back took the fire road and had at least ten river crossings, so much fun. Hell of a hike back up but i look forward to going back.
