This is a nice family beach and park protected from the surf by a lava pool. There is a lifeguard at this beach.

This was a great beach to go for a stroll. Nothing too spectacular, but the sunsets are amazing here. Supposedly turtles frequent this beach. Nice sandy beach, not too many tourists but there is a resort nearby so I’m sure it gets crowded at times. But it was enjoyable for your stereotype of a state park.
