Timbuk2 Express Tote - Women's

Bought in the store. Was specifically bought to take to Disneyland. Needed something a little bigger than my purse to hold snacks, any small gifts bought, etc. The velcro closing was a little much to keep taking apart to open but otherwise love the purse/messenger bag.

I love this bag! My roommate recommended the Timbuk2 brand after taking her larger tote to Italy. I was traveling to Ireland for a week and was concerned about weather exposure and pick-pockets. This bag is great! I used it as a crossbody and completely stuffed it for each full day of adventure - it did not disappoint! Hidden compartments for passports and money, mesh water bottle compartment, adjustable straps, VERY SECURE Velcro closure... I never worried. Days of warmth and sun, wind, mud and rain, this bag held up and looks brand new even after dragging it through all weather conditions. I normally carry a medium-sized purse and thought I'd need something bigger than this express tote but I was wrong. This tote was the perfect bag for this trip! I got exactly what I paid for and would strongly recommend this bag to anyone who is traveling abroad or even for durability on domestic flights. Two thumbs up!

I love this bag from Timbuk2. Like some other reviewers, I do wish it had a few more of the "standard" pockets and pen slots that come with most Timbuk2 bags. However, in exchange, you get a very lightweight bag to start with. I love traveling with this bag- I can pack my iPad mini, glasses, sunglasses, chargers and water bottle plus snacks with no problem. I LOVE the black and purple color- and its made out of recycled material! I did order a set of silencers from Timbuk2's web site so that there is only a slight velcro sound when opening the bag. They were well worth the $7 investment (product + shipping).

I own many Timbuk2 bags, I love them all and this purse is no exception. It is roomy inside holds everything I need for day to day life. It is perfect for a day trip with my family, I can throw snacks, small package of wipes and a diaper or 2 and there is still room to spare. I think my favorite feature is the back zipper pocket, it is large enough to hold a small notebook which I carry with me everywhere. I have been looking for a "fancier" handbag for a while but I can't seem to bring myself to stop using my Timbuk2 purse. If you are thinking about buying one do it y

I am writing this review based on my wife's comment.It's a great bag to carry around if you travel a lot. While on the plane or bus, getting access to your iPad to read and email checking is great. There are pockets to divide up small items including pens and tissues. It's nice that it's not as big as the ones your grandma would carry (no offense to grandmas, I love them!)CON: Try not to get bright colored ones. My wife got an off-white (not available now, but there's the bright red). It gets stained really easily. Just wearing jeans will transfer the blue dye to the panel. If you plan to get the bright red one, you'll have to be prepared you are ready to do a lot of cleaning with it.

I bought this bag for a trip to Europe and it is the perfect bag for walking around the city. It is very roomy inside, and the water bottle pocket is a great feature. Also, the bag is very soft and nice material, and very comfortable to carry (soft without feeling flimsy).
