The Thule Spare Me 2-bike carrier fits onto your rear-mounted spare tire and features reliable, durable construction. Stay-put cradles lock down bikes and cradles and allows complete adjustment along bike arm. Anti-sway cages prevents bike-to-bike contact. Attaches to spare-tire bolt pattern with lockable adapter plate (included), also includes a second adapter that fits different tire sizes. Includes locking cable and locking knob to secure bikes to carrier and carrier to vehicle. Arms fold down when not in use. Remove your spare tire cover to install the Thule Spare Me 2-bike carrier. Not intended for tandem or recumbent bikes; carrying bikes with step-through frames requires the purchase of an adapter (sold separately).
