Functional, but Limited Life
Bought this for a road trip with maximum passengers, requiring auxilliary storage. It installed easily, and worked well (in dry weather) for this purpose. However, over 5 years, it has only been used four times. The fourth time, the interior backing material was flaking off, and large holes appeared at the seams. It must now be replaced, and even at this price point, it isn't worth it for just four uses. I'm now looking for a more durable replacement.

"Thule" Dissapointed
I wanted a car-top carrier in which I could use and easily store. The first time we used this, I found it very difficult to strap to the existing roof rails of my SUV. The straps would come loose during driving and annoyingly rattle on the roof top. Other times, the bag would slide to one side of the roof-top. I ended up securing with velcro fastners.The carrier does not unzip all the way, so it becomes difficult to store gear.After about 4 uses, the white rubber lining near the zippers started to crumble and leave white flakes all over my gear. I am very meticulous about my gear. I always take it down and keep it nicely stored while at camp. I think I am going to trade it in for the Passage 2 Tent that I covet.
