Examples of sustainable features include paints with low volatile solids guest room doors made of recycled material porcelain tile purchased from a LEED-certified manufacturer reclaimed lumber used for accent trim cabinets made from quick-growing alder high-cotton content linens and mattress made of latex fill and natural bamboo fiber covers. The building features energy-efficient heating and cooling units and fluorescent energy-saving light bulbs. All appliances are Energy Star certified. The only paper product used in the hotel is biodegradable toilet paper. Bathroom amenities include organic soap shampoo and conditioner.
