Designed to optimize comfort and reduce shock, the women-specific Tecnica Viva M 8s feature an extra roomy shell, extra thick liners and extra thick footbeds. 3-density shell construction combines 2 types of plastic to create 3 zones of hardness, maximizing performance, fit and comfort. Easy-to-use ski/walk mechanism makes getting from the car to the lift a little easier. Custom-moldable, women-specific liners offer superior heel hold and foot envelopment; warm materials enhance fit, performance and comfort. Soft material in the shape of a V on the upper sides of the collar adapt to a wide range of lower leg shapes, and a flared liner collar increases room for the calf muscle. Velvet faux fur lining dries quickly and increases comfort and warmth. Loop on tongues help you put boots on and correctly seat the tongues. Uppermost buckle adjusts without the use of tools to fit various ankle widths, and all other buckle catches can be moved to 3 different positions to ensure a comfortable fit. Removable heel wedge helps female skiers keep their hips forward; it also cradles the heel for those who need added hold. Multilayered footbeds offer excellent comfort and enhanced shock absorption. Flex index of 70 offers the relatively soft flex appropriate for progressing novices. 105mm footbeds fit C- E width feet.
