Oahu - Maunawili Trail

OutAndBack • 20 mi • 1100 ft

An exceptional ride. One of Oahu's newest trails, Maunawili Trail is already on the verge of being endangered. Often moist, this tropical environment has plenty of overgrown trees which shade the trail and prevent water evaporation. Until reconstruction of these wet areas is finished, riders should avoid all puddled areas by dismounting and walking their bikes. Situated at the base of the Ko'olau Range, this trail offers the most scenic ride on the island. Note: Singletrack. DO NOT ride if wet or raining.
