This short trail takes you through the heart of Superstition Mountain to a fun play area. Optional obstacles in the area include Sand Dam, Tow Strap Hill and Ramsey’s Hill. The trail is described here from north to south because it is the easiest way to find the trail. It can also be driven in the other direction once you know where it is. Follows a narrow, flat-bottom canyon that exits up a steep mountain of sand. The difficult portion of the hill can be bypassed. Optional Tow Strap Hill is extremely steep with loose rock set in soft sand. A winch anchor point is provided. Optional Ramsey’s Hill is extreme.
