This 973 acre park, which straddles the Sweden-Ogden town line, combines a downhill ski slope and rope tow, a model airplane field, Salmon Creek, the Pulver House of the Ogden Historical Society, and Springdale Farm—a demonstration farm with chickens, peacocks, turkeys, horses, cows, goats, bunnies, pigs, lambs, and bulls. Originally, when the park was dedicated in 1964, it was named Salmon Creek Park. But, Northampton was later selected to honor the area’s rich history and the former Township of Northampton. The trails are predominately 10-feet wide mowed swaths through tall bush, young trees, and meadows. Terrain: Moderate Hills.
