Siberia Creek

OutAndBack • 3 mi • 0 ft

Hike through magnificent forest, visit a giant tree, take in amazing views, enjoy seasonal Siberia Creek, and marvel at the large granite boulder formations. Siberia Creek is located in a beautiful, wonderfully wooded area on the south side of Big Bear. This means the forest is greener, more lush, and loaded with towering white fir and lodgepole and ponderosa pines.

Hiked 5 familes with kids ranging 2-8 years old. The first mile is in the forest and is very easy. Everything blossomed and it was beautiful. The second 0.5 mile is O.K for kids, but not great since it is more stiff, and on a cliff. The views are great! It was a great, diverse scenery and easy hike. The only flaw: 5 miles drives on an unpaved road to get there. The last mile of this drive may be too hard for low clearance vehicle, though we managed to do it anyway.
