Two cross-country ski and snowshoe trails lead to Zimmerman Lake in the Neota Wilderness, north of Cameron Pass. One is short (1. 5 miles) and steep and rises from Colorado 14 to the east. The other is the Meadows Trail and is longer, more demanding, and proceeds in a southerly direction from Colorado 14, north of the Long Draw Road. This trail is marked by blue tree blazes, poles, occasional arrows on tree trunks and a few signs. Snowmobiles are forbidden in the wilderness area, and dogs should be kept on a leash.
