Meadowdale Beach Park

OutAndBack • 2.5 mi • 0 ft

Even the tramp, tramp, tramp of many feet along this popular route won’t detour amblers and walkers from enjoying this fine urban trail. The rewards and pleasures are many—not the least of which are a deep, cool forest and arrival at trail’s end on the shores of Puget Sound. Then there is the subtle beauty of a rare (for our area) forest tree and the autumnal arrival of chum salmon (Oncorhynchus keta) in Lunds Gulch Creek. All things considered, Meadowdale County Park is a marvelous treasure.
