A beautiful hike through evergreen forests ending at Mt Constitution with a wonderful view of the surrounding San Juan's. Hike begins beside Mountain Lake. After 1.25 miles the trail splits to Twin Lakes which is easy hiking and reached after another mile or so. The trail then heads uphill to Mt Constitution, climbing about 1500 feet in little over a mile. Then you leave the peacefulness and quiet of the hike for the summit. Cars, honking, dogs barking, kids screaming, preachers preaching. All from the folks who drove to the top. Hike is still worth taking. Everything but the masses on the summit was wonderful
