In a moss-draped alder and maple setting, this welcoming Nestucca River campground sits across the river from a lacy, pyramid-shaped waterfall. Sites have paved parking spaces, and a paved path leads to a small fishing dock. The relaxing sound of the water erases campers’ cares.

Camped at Oak Fork Campground. Prime spot next to lake. Great camping but the campground police will get you for EVERYTHING $$. Extra parking, make sure you are completely out of your ground by 1pm, etc. Otherwise, great place. Last minute family car camping trip found us at Little Crater Lake. Well maintained, little traffic. Nearby marshland does mean there will be bugs if in season. We did think $16 per night for site was a bit steep. We had an extra car that took it up to $24 per night. Camp host from nearby Clear Lake was very helpful.
