Johnson Creek - Port Orford Oregon Hikes

A one-way or round-trip day hike in the Siskiyou National Forest. Johnson Creek is a terrific hike where you’re bound to enjoy solitude. Hike through an old-growth forest of Douglas-fir and cedar, an area ablaze with rhododendron blossoms in the spring and early summer. If you have access to a car shuttle, begin at the south and upper end of the trail, descending to the north end. Special attractions: Solitude; wildlife; wildflowers; old-growth forest.
