Barklow Mountain - Port Orford Oregon Hikes

A short day hike in the Siskiyou National Forest. The trail passes through second-growth forest. Look for deer, grouse, stellar jays, and other animal species along the way. Special attractions: This trail provides a short, steep workout with opportunities for viewing wildlife. There’s a wonderful view of the Siskiyou Mountains from the summit, where you’ll see to the Pacific as well. Solitude is another plus.
