Burnt Willow Canyon - Gooding Idaho Hikes

The southern and eastern portions of the Mount Bennett Hills are cut with many volcanic-walled canyons. Most have cliffs of basalt and welded volcanic ash tuff. The latter often erodes into strange shapes (hoodoos). Such hoodoos are most prominent in the Gooding City of Rocks but they also are common throughout these “hills.”
