San Jacinto Peak - Idyllwild California Climbs

Clean, white granite boulders, rock climbing, fabulous views. And the largest pine cones you’ll probably ever see. John Muir called the view from the summit of San Jacinto Peak “one of the most sublime spectacles to be found on earth.” It’s true. You’ll be seeing vistas all the way from Nevada to the Pacific Ocean, from Mexico to the Sierra. This is a long day hike, or an overnighter with a stay at Round Valley Camp.
