Maroon Lake Trail - Aspen Colorado Hikes

Few can resist this easy lakeside stroll with beautiful Maroon Bells providing a dramatic backdrop. Kids love spotting the lake’s beaver lodge and examining the shoreline’s aquatic life. Also, Maroon Creek Trail begins here, allowing families with mixed ages to take the youngest hikers on this lakeside hike while the older ones follow the more ambitious creekside trail downstream. The creek hikers can time their return on the shuttle bus to coincide with the lake hikers.
