Emery and Schiff Paths (Dorr Mountain East Face Trail)

OutAndBack • 3.2 mi • 0 ft

Emery and Schiff Paths offer spectacular panoramas of Great Meadow, Champlain Mountain, and Frenchman Bay and lessons in Acadia trail history and craftsmanship. Named after two late-nineteenth and early-twentieth-century residents of Bar Harbor, the routes are part of a nearly century-old network of memorial paths emanating from Sieur de Monts Spring, the original heart of the park.
