Mill Creek Trail - Reading Pennsylvania Hikes

In the eastern portion of French Creek State Park, this relaxing woodland stroll only briefly meets Mill Creek, but it offers a chance to shake off the cobwebs of society and perhaps discover those in nature. Hikers may extend travel with a visit to the historic iron-making community re-created at Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site (NHS). 15 miles southeast of Reading. Special attractions: Mixed woods, wildlife sightings, charcoal hearths, access to Hopewell Furnace NHS.
