West Rim Trail - Wellsboro Pennsylvania Hikes

This spectacular long-distance linear trail for the most part hugs the West Rim of Pine Creek Gorge—the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. The trail passes through relaxing woods and serves up striking views. Although thru-trail hiking is popular, day hikes can be sculpted that encapsulate the West Rim story. Special attractions: Pine Creek Gorge vistas, varied woods with areas of impressive big trees, mountain laurel and fern, bird and wildlife sightings, colorful fall foliage.
