The trail was in great shape. Marks were easy to pick out. Trailhead parking was very easy to locate. This was my brothers first hike, and it was very easy for him.

There are many trips you can make out of this trail as there are many trail heads and a couple different locations of leantos. Storm damage to vegetation and trees can be seen but otherwise is pretty well maintained. Depending on what section is hiked it can be very easy to somewhat strenuos. There are climbs and there are level areas. Nice area to enjoy. Also note the eastside overland trail nearby. Some areas not recommended on weekends due to partiers.
