Goodnow Mountain Trail - Newcomb New York Hikes

This self-guided hiking trail in the Huntington Wildlife Forest offers one of the most manageable climbs in the Adirondacks. It leads to a restored lookout tower and a partially open summit that extend grand forest, basin, and peak views. Special attractions: Restored 1922 lookout tower, High Peaks–Hudson River panorama, historic structures from the Archer and Anna Huntington estate, hardwood and conifer forests, fall color.
