Jenkins Mountain Trail - Saranac Lake New York Hikes

This newly opened trail explores forest, glade, and glacial drift before attaining a summit vista. Special Attractions: vistas, mixed forests, meadow openings, beaver pond, wildlife sightings, fall foliage. An experimental permit system limits travel to Jenkins Mountain to twenty hikers per day. Half the permits may be reserved, half are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Inquire at Paul Smiths VIC.
