Carter-Moriah Trail

While driving through photogenic Pinkham Notch, Mount Washington rivets travelers’ attention with stunning landscapes of barren elevations and stark ravines. Distracted by this famous view to the west, most people barely notice the Carter Range that ruggedly carries the Appalachian Trail on the opposite side of the road.
