Olin Lake Nature Preserve - Kendallville Indiana Hikes

This is an interlocking loop trail through mixed woods to a lake with an undeveloped shoreline. Olin Lake is a rarity in Indiana because not one single cottage can be found on its entire shoreline. Although this 103-acre lake is 82 feet deep in one spot, its low, marshy shore contributed to its being the largest undeveloped lake in the state. State nature preserve status will keep it that way. Special Attractions: Olin Lake, the largest undeveloped lake in the state.
