Chimney Rock Park Trails - Asheville North Carolina Hikes

Visitors enter Chimney Rock Park from the picturesque tourist town of Chimney Rock. Cross the Rocky Broad River and take the Three Mile Road through a mature forest with several nice picnic spots along the way. Be sure to stop at the Meadows, about 1,400 feet. There’s a nature center, restrooms, and picnic sites. Farther along, the Great Woodland Adventure trail is designed with kids in mind, and Grady’s Animal Discovery Den sits at the trailhead. The park’s 32-foot climbing tower is also there. Descriptions of the following trails are included: the Skyline Trail, Cliff Trail, the Great Woodland Adventure Trail, Four Seasons Trail, Hickory Nut Falls Trail, Skyline and Cliff Trails.
