Tolt MacDonald Park - Carnation Washington Mountain Bike Trails

Owned by King County Parks, the Tolt MacDonald area is quickly becoming a Seattle favorite among fat-tire enthusIasts. The Tolt is an old, well-known ride with a reputation for being an unexciting gravel access road waste of time. In the past couple of years, however, miles of new trails have been cut through the dense, dark Snoqualmie Forest. In fact, if you haven’t been there in the past eighteen months, you’ll hardly recognize the place. The entire ridge above the Tolt and Snoqualmie Rivers has been injected with sharp turns, gun barrel–narrow singletrack, and rolling terrain. This book describes several of the most popular trails, but feel free to explore any of the trails shown on the map. Located on the plateau above the sleepy community of Carnation and the Snoqualmie and Tolt Rivers, the Tolt MacDonald area is one of the few mountain bike locations that is growing rather than withering under the brutal disease of development. Trail surface: Singletrack and gravel road.
