This out-and-back tour takes you through the wild open spaces of southeast Oregon. You’ll begin the tour in the small town of Frenchglen, which is the gateway to the Steens Mountain Recreation Lands. From Frenchglen you’ll ride north through prime cattle country and pedal past the western edge of the magnificent 186,500- acre Malheur Wildlife Refuge. Additional attractions on this route include the unique geologic formation in the Diamond Craters Outstanding Natural Area and the historic 1880 Peter French Round Barn.
