This ride begins just a few hundred feet from Mount Diablo's summit, affording some amazing views. It begins with a thrilling downhill, the terrain changing from high scrub to a rocky canyon before climbing back up along a creek. Some parts of this ride may be a bit too hair-raising for some folks, but experienced riders will relish it.
